The Naga People are one of Myanmar’s 135 documented ethnic groups. They live in the mountainous north-western region of Myanmar that borders with India. The remote Naga district is made up of a cluster of villages, each distinct by both language and traditions. However, they don’t exist in complete isolation as each has a mutually beneficial relationship with their neighbors.
The Naga are remembered as skilled hunters, fearless warriors and once known for their head-hunting rituals.
